Yoga that
heals, not
just stretches.

The Process
How Therapy Yoga works.
Unlike general classes, Therapy Yoga begins with understanding your body before prescribing a practice.
Free Consultation
A 20-minute call with our trainer. You share your condition, medical history and goals. We assess whether yoga therapy is appropriate and safe for you.
Custom Protocol
Based on your consultation, we design a specific asana and pranayama sequence targeted to your condition. Not a modified general class — a purpose-built practice.
Guided Sessions
You begin your sessions — online or in-studio — with regular trainer supervision. Corrections and adjustments are made as your body responds and progresses.
Progress Review
Every 4 weeks, your protocol is reviewed and updated. We track your progress against specific markers — pain levels, lab reports, energy, sleep quality.
Important Note
Yoga therapy complements medicine. It does not replace it.
We always recommend continuing your prescribed medical treatment alongside the yoga practice. Navyoga's Therapy Yoga is designed to work in parallel with your doctor's care — not against it. Many of our students have reduced medication under doctor supervision after consistent practice, but this is always a medical decision.
Always share your medical reports and current medications with your trainer
Inform us of any recent surgeries or procedures before starting
Continue doctor visits and do not adjust medication without medical advice
Certain conditions require a doctor's clearance before beginning
Session Structure
What happens in
a therapy session.
Every Therapy Yoga session is structured differently from a general class — slower, more intentional, and adapted in real time based on how your body responds.
Check-in & body assessment
Trainer notes your energy, pain levels and any changes since the last session. Protocol adjustments made if needed.
Gentle warm-up & joint work
Condition-specific joint mobilisation and myofascial release. No forcing, no pushing past comfort.
Therapeutic asana sequence
Your prescribed poses — held longer, with modifications, with trainer supervision and hands-on adjustments.
Targeted pranayama
Breath techniques selected for your condition — calming, stimulating or regulating as required.
Yoga Nidra / Savasana
Deep rest for nervous system integration. The healing happens during this phase.
Real Results
What our students achieved.
These are not weight-loss testimonials. These are health recoveries.
Lumbar disc herniation (L4-L5)
"I had been in pain for 3 years. Two surgeons recommended surgery. I decided to try yoga first. After 4 months with Navyoga's therapy protocol, my MRI showed the disc had partially reabsorbed. My pain score went from 8/10 to 1/10. No surgery needed."

PCOS with irregular cycles
"I had not had a regular cycle in 4 years. Doctors put me on medication that caused weight gain and mood issues. After 6 months of Navyoga's PCOS protocol — pranayama, specific asanas and Yoga Nidra — my cycles regularised. My gynaecologist reduced my medication by half."

Stage 1 hypertension
"My BP was consistently 145/95. My cardiologist was about to start medication. I asked for 3 months to try yoga. After 5 months of Navyoga therapy sessions, my BP is 118/78. My cardiologist was genuinely surprised. I have not started any BP medication."
